Most Anticipated Books of 2021!

We hope you all had an AMAZING New Years Eve and that your New Year's Day is going amazing already. The good thing about 2021 already is some of the books that are coming out. There are few that I have already ordered or will order as soon as I can possibly do so. I have listed my top books below and gave you a brief description of each.

This year is already starting the year off strong with one of my most anticipated books! And they keep getting better as the year goes on.

  • Lore by Alexandra Bracken comes out on January 5th! This books is a modern tale and epic battle between Greek Gods and Ancient Bloodlines. Every 7 years the Agon commences and the Gods are forced to fight for their lives and they don't always make it out alive. Lore fled the battle scene after her family was murdered and she is pairing up with a Goddess and is now being dragged back into the battle to go up against a mutual enemy. Now she is fighting to get out of this fight forever.

  • The Project by Courtney Summers which comes out on February 2nd. I was luckily enough to get an ARC from NetGalley for this book and it was AMAZING! I read this book in one sitting and it was so fascinating and intriguing. The story is all about one girl on a mission to find her sister by diving head first into the cult the took her. The further she dives into the cult to find her sister the further she pulls away from her own life. The closer she gets the more blurry the lines get and she will have to make decisions that will change her life forever.

  • A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J Maas is coming out on February 16th and it is the next book in the ACOTAR series. Nesta has been dragged into the world of the High Fae and is now forced to not only face her new world as well as face the aftermath of the Hybern War. Nesta and Cassian are thrown together again and with the rest of the Night Court are forced to face new battles and new enemies.

  • The Rose Code by Kate Quinn comes out on March 9th. This is a historical fiction novel based during World War 2 and what happens at Bletchley Park. Three very different women answered the call to serve at Bletchley Park and try and help the Allies decode enemy secrets. The war and pressures tear the three women but they are pulled back together 7 years later to solve another puzzle. As the 3 reunite to crack one last code they are drawn closer to answers but also pulled closer to their true enemy.

  • The Aurora Cycle Book #3 by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff should be coming out in May of 2021 but we have yet to have a title, cover, or release date for this book. But I love every book this duo has put out so I am so excited for this trilogy to wrap up and see what happens next!

  • Daughter of Sparta by Claire M Andrews comes out June 8th. Much like Lore we are going back into the world of Greek Mythology and stories. This time we are getting a retelling of Daphne and Apollo. Daphne trained her whole life to become a Spartan Warrior but when she unexpected runs in Artemis she now has a new adventure to face. She now must team up with Apollo to find the 9 mysterious items that were stolen from Olympus. We get to see a bunch of Greek Myths and Figures that are known, one Spartan must now save the Greek World and Greek God's.

  • My Contrary Mary by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows comes out on June 22nd. This is the first in their new series all about Mary's. We start off with the story of Mary, Queen of Scots. In this retelling, Mary is a shapeshifter in a world that works to eliminate them. Now when her and her betrothed are thrust on the throne. They are now surrounded by people they don't know if they can trust but also into a web of conspiracies, traps, and treason. Mary's secret keeps getting trickier as they try to figure out how to rule their new kingdom.

I am hoping to get to all these books this year and cannot wait to get to them all. Even if it is just adding them to my TBR.

Happy Reading!
